Kitchen Internships

For our internships in the kitchen department it´s important to have previous experience and to (have) follow(ed) culinary courses as part of your studies. Within the kitchen internships we differentiate the kitchen & pastry departments.

If you are interested in an internship please make sure you comply with these 5 factors:

1. You´re currently enrolled in a tourism, hospitality, culinary arts or another relevant study.
2. You´re available for a minimum of 3 months between February and October.
3. You´re between the age of 18 and 28.
4. You have an EU nationality/status.
5. You speak English and at least basic Spanish.

Kitchen Internships

Kitchen (cold/hot)

A kitchen internship in Spain offers a unique opportunity to learn about Spanish cuisine, gain hands-on experience in a professional kitchen, and immerse yourself in the local culinary culture. The specific duties and experiences will vary depending on the type of hotel and the level of your internship, but generally, you will be assisting the chefs in the Mise en Place and supporting in basic tasks such as cleaning, peeling, chopping, and preparing vegetables, fruits, meats, and other ingredients.

Pastry

A hotel pastry internship in Spain provides an opportunity to develop your skills in pastry arts within a professional hospitality environment.

Spain has a rich tradition in pastries and desserts, influenced by various regional styles and ingredients. During your internship, you’ll gain hands-on experience, learn traditional and contemporary techniques, and contribute to creating desserts and pastries for hotel guests.

What do we offer?

  • Compensation of 350€ average per month
  • Uniform
  • 40 hours/5 days (2 days off)
  • Internship certificate upon completion
